Dr. Aref Nayed, CEO/Managing Director and Co-Founder of Agathon Systems Ltd.
Dr. Aref Nayed, CEO and Co-Founder of Agathon Systems Limited, holds a Ph.D. (Philosophy)
from Guelph University, Canada. Dr. Nayed comes with over 20 years of experience
in the Service Industry and has a track record of turning around businesses under
his command. Dr.Aref's vision is to make Agathon as the most preferred supplier
of Technology Services and grow the Revenue and Profits in line with the best in
the industry. Dr. Nayed started out as an engineer and assisted with his family's
construction companies as site engineer, project engineer, safety coordinator, and
eventually project manager for special intense projects that included electrical
cable laying and pipeline projects in the Bani Walid area. He also worked as human
resource manager and assisted in several conflicts resolution situations. Having
completed graduate studies in Philosophy of Science and Hermeneutics, As an academic,
Dr. Nayed taught at several universities including the University of Guelph (Canada),
the Pontitifical Institute for Arabic and Islamic Studies (Rome), and ISTAC (Kuala
Lumpur). Dr. Nayed still has some academic involvements being a Visiting Fellow
at Cambridge University Divinity School, and Advisor to the Islamic Call Society
on Muslim Christian Relations. |

In Year 1998, Mr. Aref Nayed, a perceptive businessmen, founded
Agathon Systems in Sharjah SAIF zone with a very clear mind to focus customers not
only in UAE but also to focus a huge customer base in Libya. From the outset, attention
has been focused on quality services geared to attain customer satisfaction and
in so doing contribute to the progress of Libya.
Soon after, Libya started experiencing development of a great magnitude. Concurrently,
Agathon Systems was ready to contribute the development process with a wide spectrum
of commercial and technical activities, yet with a common objective – to deliver
products and services that meet the growing demand for information technology services.
Agathon Systems company, right from its inception, has been dedicated to providing
its customers with value added, total solutions that maximize the potential of their
workplace. This led gaining customer satisfaction at all levels.
